Edgar K. Riddick Jr., PE (1923-1997)
Founder

Passionately dedicated to serving the engineer’s responsibility to society, Edgar lead his state and nation to many still unsurpassed engineering milestones.

Emerging from the small town of Walnut Ridge, and gaining his BSME from the University of Arkansas in 1948, Edgar pushed forward not only to command our state’s largest engineering firm but further grew his efforts to a world level with the coordination of an energy conservation consortium of over 700,000 engineers. Edgar founded or chaired the national organizations; PEPP, ACE ASHRAE, and was inducted as charter member to the Academy of Engineering.

Edgar, thank you for you unrelenting vigor and guidance. We will always admire and forever learn from your generous mentorship.
